Tableau Server Administration

When hosting a data visualization portal using Tableau Server, the top areas to monitor are server performance (loading times) and usage (page views). Each are no good without each other. Personally, I’ve racked up 7+ years of experience with Tableau Desktop and Server and 3 official Tableau certifications. I also spent 2+ years developing additional expertise in managing the Windows VMs on which Tableau Server instances were installed. This was a great experience for me since I was able to dive deeper into Windows Task Automation, PowerShell scripting, and registry editing. Further, I learned a great deal about SSL certificates, encryption, and maintaining remote machines and sizing them up and down using the AWS web interface.
