As a fun side project one year, I developed a predictive analytics report in Excel that would show products that were at a high likelihood for purchase based on first purchase behaviors for office supplies customers. The idea came from seeing the types of recommendations Amazon.com gave me after I clicked around their site. My goal was to create a relatively small file size report that still had all of the data in it to make a wide variety of predictions based on a large number of inputs. See below for the report as well as the SQL code I wrote to generate the data tables for the report.
